Morpheus: If At First You Don't Succeed...

Whoops! As we see in this 20-second video, the Morpheus lander test on May 3 didn't go very well. In this tethered test, Morpheus appears to veer out of control. The test on May 4, Innovation Day, went better. Meanwhile launch of STS-134, once scheduled for April 19, has been delayed until at least May 16 due to problems with the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU).

It's also why we try to stand behind the big heavy pieces of machinery.

By the way, many years ago there was a rumor about a demonstration of DIVAD that went so awry that the visiting dignitaries hit the dirt. And it was then canceled.

Hi C and C. There were also rumours of Russian rockets blowing up and taking a blockhouse full of officials with them.
