Heavy Rings

Cassini data and computer simulations have led scientists to conclude that Saturn's Rings are ancient, perhaps billions of years old. Previously they thought the Rings could not survive more than about 100 million years. We would then face the anthropic question of why the Rings are around at just the right time for humans to enjoy them, just like Earth is the centre of the Universe.
