Spacesuit for Sale

You have one more day to bid on eBay item #230155439555, Svetlana Saviskaya's original spacesuit. In August 1982 Saviskaya became the second woman in Space after Valentina Tereshkova. Later she would become the first woman to go EVA. This suit is made of white canvas and weighs 10 kilograms. This is a launch-entry suit, not suitable for EVA. "The suit features all of the original Soviet insignia, and includes the fitted gloves with machined couplings, integral boots, the domed helmet and all of the threaded hoses and other couplings that enable humans to traverse the heavens."

Starting price is only 17,000 US. If you don't want to spend that much on a spacesuit, I can sell you a cheaper one. You will be a huge hit on Halloween or in your country's Air and Space Museum.

This week Universe Today hosts the new Carnival of Space!

How much less?

For less than 1% of a suborbital ticket, you can have either a Flightsuit (Unpressurised, covered in Nomex for fire protection) or an Analog suit with helmet.

Analog suits look like the real thing and are invaluable for training, publicity and testing at analog sites. You would be the hit at any costume party too.

Pricing has been kept comparable or lower than similiar suits offered elsewhere.

Louise, are You acquainted with controversial theories of russian physicist Nikolai Aleksandrovich Kozyrev?

http://www.fortunecity.com/tattooine/gargoyle/32/kozyrev.htm

IMHO he was Your forerunner.

I heard suborbital tickets are around $200k, so you can hook me up for less than $2k ?

For Toomas: Interesting that he developed his theories in isolation from the mainstream. There may be more going on inside the Sun than fusion.

HI Sam, and great to hear from you. Due to the demand, there will be analog suits that look just as good as the real ones. Hawaii has so many otherworldy terrains, you will be a big hit walking Mauna Kea or Garden of the Gods in a spacesuit.

Louise, and time may be something more than ticking of a clock. When speaking about nonmainstream physicists, heretics or crackpots, remembers to me first Matti Pitkänen. Do you have enough math and time to understand his TGD?

http://www.helsinki.fi/~matpitka/

I surely hope, You have both.

Toomas, biologist=poor at math.
